Lillian E. LaRosa (85) passed away peacefully on July 18 after a long illness. She is survived by her husband, Nicholas (Nick), of 67 years and her six children: Robert & his wife Ann, Debra & her husband Peter, Steven & his wife Laura, Susan, Scott & his wife Robin and Patrick & his wife Leslie.
She was the loving “Grammy” to 13 Grandchildren, two of whom predeceased her and 9 Great-Grandchildren. Lillian was the daughter of Joseph & Madeline Casey, was raised in South Boston, then moved to Franklin in 1963 and raised her family & lived there until 2015, when she & her husband moved to Marco Island, FL.
Lillian was a creative person, having owned & operated a ceramic studio in Medfield for several years in the 1970’s & 80’s, she was a member of the Franklin Garden Club. She enjoyed spending time at the local casinos. Lillian was a woman of simple needs and what brought her great happiness was spending time with her family & friends.
