Robert Walter Keefe

Robert Walter Keefe, age 68, of Marco Island, Florida passed away on Friday, July 21, 2023. Bob retired from the New York City Police Force and moved full time to paradise with his wife, Janet, the love of his life. To fill his time, he got a job with the Marco Island Civic Association (MICA) and spent many hours working as the friendliest beach gate guard on the island. Always a smile on his face, he will be sorely missed by many.

Robert is survived by his beloved wife of 36 years, Janet, his beloved daughter, Michele (Chris) Mormando, granddaughters, Ashley and Alexa, sisters, Barbara (John) DeRosa, Maureen (John) Loonam and June Janzen, sister-in-law, Joan (Stephan) Early, nieces, Jeanne, Kathleen (Scott), Lauren, and Lori Ann (Jason), nephews, Tom, John (Jennifer), Chaplin and Vincent (Jill), and great nieces and nephews, Caroline, James, Michael, David, Eric, Kailyn, Nicholas & Holly. In addition, Bob is survived his best friend, Kevin Benson and his dear family friends, Mike & Joan Jennings, Mike & Lana Palumbo and Wes & Margaret Robinson. He was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Frances Keefe, his In-Laws, Arthur and Veronica Krams, brothers-in-law, Stephan Early and John Krams and sister-in-law, Jean Krams.

A Funeral Mass for Robert will be held Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at 11:00 AM at San Marco Catholic Church, 851 San Marco Road, Marco Island, FL 34145.
