Wally was a retired biochemist, toxicologist and scientific researcher for the pharmaceutical industry. He received his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University, his Masters degree from University of Wisconsin and his PhD in biochemistry and toxicology from Tufts University.
He enjoyed the beach, biking, fishing, boating, swimming, playing Bridge and watching wrestling matches.
He raised his family in Suffern, N.Y. and spent summers in Long Beach Island, N.J. before retiring to Marco Island, F.L. and later moving to Naples.
Wally was born in Jersey City, N.J. on Dec. 10, 1938 to Benjamin Dairman and Ruth Sinakin.
Wally is survived by his wife, Enid, their two daughters, Amy and Beth, a brother, Fred, four grandchildren, and many cousins.
The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. at Marco Island Cemetery, at 489 West Elkcam Circle, on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 with Rabbi Mark Gross.
