BANKO, Anastasia “Nesta”,94, passed away on November 9, 2014 in Marietta. Nesta was a retired elementary school teacher for the Chicago Board of Education. During her retirement years, Nesta was a member of Indian Hills Country Club and enjoyed playing bridge, a game of golf and looked forward to traveling. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Basil “Bud” Banko and is survived by her son, Basil F. (Janine) and her daughter, Joanne Swift (Alan) five grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. A Committal Service will be held Tuesday, November 11 at 2 PM at Kennesaw Memorial Park in Marietta.
