

Ann Avner Geib, 54 of Atlanta, passed away on Sunday, January 27, 2013 due to sudden illness. Ann was the daughter of Janet and Leight Avner of El Paso, Texas. Ann grew up in El Paso, graduated from Austin High School and received a Bachelor of Art, Interior Design from the University of North Texas. Ann relocated to Atlanta and became a key member of William Stewart Designs for twenty-five years. Ann met her husband, Tim Geib, while doing community service projects with the Atlanta Jaycees. They were happily married for almost 20 years. Ann had a great love for animals, showing horses in Texas and participating in several dog sports. Ann's extended family includes pet Airedales, Sparky and Gabbie, and Parson Russell Terrier, Auggie. Known for her kind and thoughtful spirit, Ann was a beloved wife, friend, daughter and co-worker who touched many lives on a daily basis. As a member of the Atlanta design community, Ann was well known for her creative skills and firm but polite manner in orchestrating the many successful high end residential projects at William Stewart Designs. Ann's inquisitive nature inspired her love to travel and visit new places with her family and friends, creating many happy memories. She was preceded in death by her parents. Ann is survived by her husband and many special friends.
A memorial service to celebrate Ann’s life will be held at 2:00 o’clock, Friday, February 1st, 2013, in the chapel of, Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2000 Cobb Parkway, Marietta, Georgia, 30060. There will be a receiving of friends one hour prior to the service. Interment of Ann’s ashes will be at a later date.
