

Mr. Anosius L. Etienne, 91 of Powder Springs passed away on Friday, November 28, 2014. Born in Haiti, Mr. Etienne was a deacon in the church and a farmer for many years. After farming, Anosius was a middle school teacher from 1949 until 1980. He was married to his wife of 64 years, Mrs. Marie J. Etienne. Anosius was a great father, wonderful husband and will be missed by all those whom he leaves to cherish his memory. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 8:00 a.m. from St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Smyrna with Fr. Guyma Noel officiating. Entombment will follow in the chapel mausoleum at Georgia Memorial Park in Marietta. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6:00 until 9:00 pm at Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home He was preceded in death by his son, Bruno Etienne. Mr. Etienne is survived by his wife; Marie J. Etienne, six sons; Jean Etienne of Connecticut, Wilner Etienne of Orlando, FL, Eole Etienne of Long Island, NY, Garnel Etienne of Connecticut; Anosius Etienne, Jr. of Douglasville, GA; two daughters, Marie Ariste of Douglasville, GA; Mimerose Jean Baptiste of Powder Springs, GA; four brothers; Matthew Etienne, Lusconne Etienne, Deneus Etienne and Dumond Etienne; one sister, Madeline Jean.
