Barbara K. Davis, age 90, of Gainesville (formerly of Smyrna), passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 2, 2025. Services will be held at Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery, with visitation from 12 to 2 p.m., followed by a chapel service from 2 to 3 p.m.
Mrs. Davis is survived by her three devoted sons: James A. Davis Jr. of Stockbridge, and Jeffrey L. Davis and Jonathan H. Davis, both of Dawsonville. She was a cherished grandmother to four: Alisa Davis Smentek of Marietta, Jimmy Davis of Stockbridge, Joey Davis of Raleigh, North Carolina, and Jesse Davis of Cumming. Her legacy continues through three beloved great-grandchildren—Conor Smentek, Eli Davis, and Maddie Davis—and a treasured step-great-grandchild, Camden Schurr Davis. A beloved matriarch, Mrs. Davis’s warmth and love touched all who knew her. Her presence brought comfort, joy, and strength to her family. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her.
