

Claire C. Pringle (Pomeroy), age 75, of Marietta, Georgia died Wednesday, September 21, 2011 following a prolonged illness. A member of The Catholic Church of St. Ann, Mrs. Pringle was the founder of the church’s Religious Education Program and was its Director from 1978 until her retirement in 1998.
An avid reader, writer and artist, she received her degree in Library Sciences from The University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. At age 52, she received her Masters Degree in Theology from St. Thomas University in Miami, Florida.
She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and is predeceased by her husband, Martin F. Pringle and is survived by three daughters, Terry A. Edwards, Kim W. Cook and Rebecca M. Marquis and two sons, Scott C. and Andy S. Pringle; her brother, Thomas L. Pomeroy, seventeen grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held 2:00 pm, Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at The Catholic Church of St. Ann, 4905 Roswell Road Marietta, Georgia 30062, with Reverend Gene Barrette, MS as celebrant. Interment will be at Arlington Memorial Park in Sandy Springs. Visitation will be from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm Tuesday evening at H.M. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, Canton Hill, 1157 Old Canton Road, Marietta, Georgia 30068. (770) 977-9485
