

Cornelia “Connie” Perdue, age 92, of Marietta, GA, slipped from this life into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, November 7, 2012. Mrs. Perdue was married 37 years to Robert L. Perdue and mother of daughters,
Kay Van Curen (of Kennesaw, GA), Peggy Drake (of Charleston, SC); son Dudley Duncan and wife Jeannie (of Midlothian, VA), daughter-in-law, Frances Duncan. She was preceded in death by her youngest son, Herb Duncan, and first husband, O. L. Duncan. She had four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, nieces & nephews. She was a great wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt.
Mrs. Perdue retired from Civil Service after 20+ years of service and she and Mr. Perdue were full-time campers for 7-8 years, touring back and forth across America. They settled in Leesburg, FL area then later moved to Marietta GA. She loved working with her hands making crafts, sewing, crocheting, and quilting.
Her funeral service will be Tuesday, November 13th, 11:00 a.m. at Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. She will be buried at Georgia National Cemetery, Canton GA, later that afternoon with just the family present.
