Daniel David Cole, 87, of Marietta, passed away October 9, 2012. Mr. Cole was born in London, and he served in Royal Air Force and Royal Navy prior to his residency in the United States He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Joan Hanchrow Cole. He is survived by his daughter, Ellen Cole (Scott)Smith, of Marietta; grandchildren, Andrew (Christina), Peter, and Greg Smith; nephews, Michael Graham, Alex Cole, and Edward Cole; nieces, Olivia Cole and Laura Cole Watts.
