He was a veteran of WWII having served in the U. S. Navy in the Pacific Theater. Mr. Denmark retired from Lockheed Martin in 1991 with 30 plus years of service. He was an active member of Sandy Plains Baptist Church and was a Life Member of Marietta VFW Post 2681.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Marjorie Bowlin Denmark and a daughter, Joyce Ann Howard.
Survived by his son, Wayne Lee Denmark; daughter, Nancy S. Buttrey; 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday Nov. 6 at 2 PM in the Winkenhofer Chapel of Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends between the hours of 12 noon until 2 PM Friday at the funeral home.
