Mrs. Dorothy “Gbot” Grace Riley, 84 of Marietta, passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2014. Dorothy was born in Dedham, MA and moved to Georgia in 1963. She worked at Kennestone Hospital for many years as a ward secretary. Afterwards, she went on to work for Cobb County Schools as a Bus Driver where she retired after over 15 years of service. Mrs. Riley loved the ocean and tried to visit it as much as she could. She also was a very big sports fan and loved supporting the Boston Red Sox and the Atlanta Braves. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Edward Riley; son, Ed Riley II and grandson, Jeffrey Cabena. She is survived by her sons, Al Riley of Panama City Beach, FL and George Riley of Elijay, GA; her daughters, Deborah Toth of Kennesaw, GA and Dawna Loudermilk of Marietta, GA; one brother, Richard Moreshead of Foxboro, MA; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow afterwards in Georgia Memorial Park.
