Mrs. Emma Cromer , age 90, of Marietta ,GA, passed away Friday, March 3, 2017. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Charles Cromer of 33 years; Best friend Joy Ennis, who was her shopping buddy and cruise companion. Emma is survived by her son; James Cromer(Susan) of Douglasville; Daughter Kay Ainsworth(Ferrell) of Marietta; Daughter Cathy Ennis(Alan) of Marietta; Sister Bettye Adcock of Kennesaw; sister Margaret Hughes of Easly, S.C.; 5 grandchildren; 8 step-grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 12 great-great grandchildren; Caretaker Ben Jones who lovingly called her “Molly”. Her family will always remember her as a woman who loved her church and her family. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 6, 2017 at 11 o’clock in the chapel of Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Faulkner officiating. Interment will follow in Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery.
A visitation is scheduled for Sunday, March 5, 2017 between the hours of 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Georgia Memorial Park. Family asks in lieu of flowers donations be made to Grace Pointe Marietta Baptist Church, 505 Atlanta Street, Marietta, GA 30060
