Frances C Pounds

Frances Cosper Pounds, age 95, of Montgomery, Alabama, passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2022. Frances was born May 3, 1926 to Shell Mac Cosper and Minnie Belle Buchanan Cosper. She graduated from Ranburne High School and Anniston Business College with a degree in Business. She retired from John B. Lagarde. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, in fact you could say she was an avid reader, she could spend hours reading. Her favorite pastime was shopping- especially at T.J. Max. There was not a state or city where she wouldn't look for a new T.J. Max "adventure". Her great love was spending time with her family. That was her greatest joy and comfort.

Frances is preceded in death by her first husband, H.H. Reeves and second husband, Nelson R. Pounds; siblings: Mary Moore, Elizabeth Bolden, John Cosper, Ann C. McNaron and Katie Ross Scott.

She is survived by her loving only daughter, Debbie Lain Prescher; son-in-law, Bruce Prescher, grandchildren:James E. Lain, III (wife Erica) and Christian Reeves Lain (wife, Heather); nephew Larry Moore (wife Susan).

A graveside service will be held Thursday, April 21, 2022 at 1:00 pm, CST at Forestlawn Gardens 730 Golden Springs Road, Anniston, Al 36207.
