It is with heavy hearts and deep love that we announce the passing of George Raymond Leonhardi (Ray), a beloved brother, and friend, who left this world far too soon on September 30, 2025 at the age of 65.
Born on December 1st, 1959 in Fort Belvoir, Virginia, Ray lived a life full of passion and kindness. He was a humble man who loved collecting and playing guitars, designing and building his home studio, tinkering with muscle cars and collecting firearms.
Ray is survived by his devoted siblings, Michael (and wife Dee), Robert (and wife Ashley), Christine Roschli (and husband Brian), and Lisette Bunting-Perry (and husband Jim); nieces and nephews – Finley, Kaleigh, Chase, Gatlin, Parker, Zachary and, great nephews – Dallas and Eden; and long-time friends – Jennifer, Jeff, Ray, and Terry.
He is also survived by his cherished dog, Roxy, who was his steadfast companion and source of joy and love. He is reunited in peace with his parents Conrad and Jean Leonhardi, grandparents, Robert and Magdaline Conley, Conrad Leonhardi and Olivette Holmes, nephew Jacob Leonhardi who preceded him in death.
A celebration of Ray’s remarkable life will be held on Wednesday October 8th, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Georgia Memorial Park, 2000 Cobb Pkwy SE Marietta, GA 30060 followed by a graveside service at 1:00 PM.
