Dear Helen and Family,

  We feel blessed to have gotten to know Jerry. He was a wonderful, kind and gentle man. We will miss his walks past our house that he so often had done these past five years.

   We especially feel that Jerry was the rock, the strong foundation in starting King of Kings. He will be missed so much. We feel Jerry will watch over us as we build this church that he had started here in the Jasper.

We were so saddened to hear of Jerry's passing. He has meant so much to the founding of our little church, and Marcia and I were looking forward to years of fellowship with the two of you. We do feel blessed by God to have had the chance to join in fellowship with you and to get to know Jerry, and we are certain in our faith that he is now with Him. When Dad told me the news of Jerry's passing, I was shocked and very saddened to hear this. I remember clearly "catching a ride" to the airport many times when Dad and Jerry carpooled to work. He was always so nice to me.  I wish I could be there on Friday to give you a hug. Please know that you and your family are in my prayers.

Helen and family, I am so sorry to hear about Jerry's passing. I worked with Jerry in Corporate Security at Delta for about 7 years, the last year before he retired, I shared an office with him. Jerry was an outstanding person and had a wit that want be forgotten. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I am so sorry to hear of Jerry's passing. My first thought was of that morning so many years ago when you saw that he looked gray, and immediately got him to a heart doc. What a blessing you were to him, and what a blessing that you had these extra years to be with one another. Jerry had class and professionalism, tempered with a great wit. Jerry was my office mate for a number of years in dept 969 at DL. He attended my wedding and gave his blessing to me, my wife and my family. He accepted me for me. He gained my respect, truly. May he rest in peace.
