Mr. Jack Thomas Scott, 27 of Marietta passed away on October 21, 2012. Raised in Marietta, he attended Walton High School and culinary school. He developed a passion for cooking and loved his job as the kitchen manager for Red Sky Tapas Restaurant and Bar. He was an avid Georgia Tech and Falcons fan. His first loves, however, were his children, his family, his wife and his dog, Jack-Jack. Jack is survived by his wife of five years, Rebecca Scott, daughters Brooklyn Lee Scott and Savannah Grace Scott, Rebecca's son, Austin, parents, Thomas and Jackie Scott, uncle, Steed Scott, aunts, Julia Keese and Janet Smith Olsen and mother and father-in-law, Ronald and Eva Sherwood. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Scott family to establish an education fund for Jack’s children. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 26, 2012 at 7:00pm in the chapel of H.M. Patterson & Son Canton Hill, Marietta. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00pm.
