Woodrow was a wonderful father of 3 children, 5 grand children, and 2 great grand children.
A Navy veteran in Communications during the Korean War, Woodrow continued in Communications when returned to civilian life with Southern Railway for a number of years before joining and becoming a loyal employee of Ford Motor Company where he retired after 30 years.
His enjoyed working with his hands to create ornamental art as a hobby, and Woodrow was a Georgia Bulldogs fan and an Avid Atlanta Braves Fan since 1965 when they moved to Atlanta!
Woodrow was kind, he was generous and he had a strong belief and love of God.
His greatest passion in life was his family and in turn his family’s greatest passion was
and will always be James Woodrow Lype!
