James Robert McMillin Sr.

Mr. James R. McMillin, Sr., age 82 of Marietta, GA passed away November 6, 2010. Jim proudly served his country in the United States Navy and spent more than 40 years as a retail executive. For the past 12 years, he enjoyed his retirement by spending cherished time with his family. Jim and his wife recently celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary on September 24. Jim is survived by his loving wife Mary Ann, sons Jim Jr. and his wife Claudia, Tom and his wife Brigette, daughter Anne McDonald and her husband Bill, grandchildren Kelly and her husband John, Megan, Kevin, Eileen, Molly, Caitlin, and Grace, and brother Thomas McMillin. He was preceded in death by his parents Ortho and Doris McMillin and his brother William McMillin. A funeral mass will be held Friday, November 12 at 2:00pm at The Catholic Church of St. Ann in Marietta, Georgia. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Honor Flight Network at www.honorflight.org, an organization honoring American veterans. H.M.
