

Jean E. Brogan (Lingenfelter)(Link), age 90, of Marietta, Georgia passed away on Dec. 20, 2017 while in hospice at Tranquility at Kennesaw. She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana. She attended Thomas Carr Howe High School and Butler University.
She worked in the editor’s office at Purdue University where she wrote letters to all the state legislators and veterinarians. This started the School of Veterinary Medicine at Purdue University.
Jean was artistic and creative. Her hobbies were sewing, reading, writing poetry, cooking, designing jewelry and hats, and bird watching. She designed graphic computer art making pictures, stationary and custom greeting cards for all occasions. She enjoyed traveling with Bob to state parks and universities where they would hike and have picnics. They were active in Wesley United Methodist Church in Speedway, Indiana—teaching Sunday School and were youth group leaders. She had an amazing gift of making everyone feel important and special. Her sense of humor would make everyone laugh.
She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Robert W. Brogan; brother & sister-in-law, Tom & Maura Brogan; nephews and nieces:

She was preceded in death by her parents Charlton & Elsa (Nordman) Lingenfelter (Link) and her sister Ann (Lingenfelter)(Link) & Roy Craft.
