Mr. John P. Coleman, 69, of Roswell, GA passed away October 26, 2013. He was born in Birmingham, AL to the late Hardin and Ruth Coleman on May 13, 1944. In 1964 John joined the United States Army and served honorably as a captain. After his discharge, he lived in Augusta, GA for many years. He was a member of the Gold Miners Association and the VFW, where he enjoyed bingo on Wednesday nights. John had a giving spirit, volunteering every Thanksgiving to help feed the poor. He is survived by his wife, Karen Coleman, daughters, Tonia Coleman-Klein (Chris) and Dana Christian (Andrew), 5 grandsons and brother, Dr. William “Bill” Coleman. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
