Jonathan Michael Sutter, 40, of Woodstock, Georgia, beloved son, brother, and father, passed away peacefully on January 8, 2026. He was born on January 2, 1986, and during his lifetime touched the hearts of many with his generosity, sense of humor, and unwavering love for his family.
Jon was a devoted “dada” to his two sons, Braydon, 12, and Owen, 10, who were the pride and joy of his life. He took great comfort and purpose in being a loving father—guiding, teaching, and sharing in countless memories with them. Brayden and Owen thought their dada hung the moon.
Known for his hard work, loyalty, and kindness, Jon made a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. Jon served in the Armed Forces and was stationed in Georgia, where he continued his career as an engineer in the Marine Division of Yamaha. He will be remembered for his steady presence, his laughter, and his ability to make others feel seen and cared for.
He is survived by his parents, Mike and Vickie Sutter of Reynoldsville, PA; his brother, Tim Sutter, and nieces, Cam and Stella, of NC; his sister and brother-in-law, Sara and Matt Losey, of NC; his two sons and their loving mother, Ashley, of GA; and his loving fiancé, Maria, and her son, Leo. He is also survived by grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins who will carry his memory in their hearts.
Jon’s family has the peace of knowing he is being held by the loving arms of his Lord and Savior in heaven, as he accepted Christ at an early age.
