Julie Marie Burgess, age 68, of Marietta, GA, passed away August 17, 2016. She was born in Jacksonville, NC on June 14, 1948. Julie graduated from Beaufort High School in Beaufort, SC and received her RN degree from Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, GA. Julie had a career in Human and Veterinary Medicine and had a passion for animals, family, sports and beaches. She is survived by her brother, Victor (Molly) Burgess; sister-in-law, Laura Burgess, nieces: Suzanne B. (Glen) Taylor, and Danielle Burgess, nephew, Taylor B. (DJ) Gothard. The family will be having a gathering to celebrate Julie’s life at a later date.
