Loris Aline Mann

She graduated from Riverwood High School in Sandy Springs and then Emory University with a double major degree in English and Math/Computer Science.

She was last employed as an Editor with UCB, Inc in Smyrna.

In her spare time, she loved knitting and shopping for yarn with which to knit. She also had 5 adoring cats which were her constant companions as she worked at home. She also loved to travel when able sticking to domestic trips since returning to Atlanta after living in Japan twice in early years accompanying her husband, a Naval Officer.

Loris is preceded in death by her father, Joel Eugene Green.

She is survived by her adoring husband of 38 ½ years, David Mann. Loris is also survived by her mother, Barbara Green and sister, Estra (James) Grant as well as her two much adored nieces, Naomi (Evan) Risch and Zoe Grant.

The family will receive guests beginning at 1:00 p.m. with a remembrance service at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 19, 2026, at H.M. Patterson and Son Canton Hill Chapel, 1157 Old Canton Road, Marietta, GA 30068.
