Louella Gilmore Smith

Louella Gilmore Smith, age 92, of Marietta, Georgia passed away on Monday, October 2, 2023. Louella was born in Wyoming in 1930 to Clara (Duquoin) Gilmore & William Gilmore. She graduated from Hurley High School. She was employed by U.S. Air Force-Langley Base Education in Virginia.

In her spare time she enjoyed spending time with her family, her home and her faith! She loved jigsaw puzzles and watching Hallmark movies.

Louella is preceded in death by her loving husband, Kenneth E. Smith, her siblings Terry Dancesia, Jeff and Hugh Gilmore and her parents Clara & William Gilmore.

She is Survived by her daughter Lana Kleimon (Robert), son Gary Smith (Jane), grandchildren-Richard, Rachelle, Daniel, Robin, Ari, Morgan, Meriza, Onolee, Alex, Rose and great grandchildren-Connor, David and Lily; sister, Charlotte White, brother William Gilmore, sister in law's Sharon Gilmore and Jane Gilmore; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Celebration of Life Catholic Mass will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, October 11th, at St. Ann Catholic Church. Interment will take place at Parklawn Memorial in Hampton Virginia at a later date at a graveside committal service.
