

Mr. Louie William Sulcer, 74, of Woodstock, GA went home to be with the Lord in his home on September 28, 2013. He was born on October 8, 1938 in Atlanta, GA to the late Ruth and Louie W. Sulcer, Sr. Lou was an outstanding athlete at North Fulton High School and later at Georgia Tech. He graduated from Georgia State University in banking and finance. Lou also served in the Naval Reserves for eight years. He was a deacon at Eastside Baptist Church in Marietta and taught Sunday school. One of his great joys was mentoring the youth group. He coached football and baseball for years, and poured his heart and energy into the lives of others. He is survived by his wife Harriet Sulcer, children, Christy Winford (Barry) of Rigeland, MS, Andrea Harris (Jerry) of Woodstock, GA and Kevin Sulcer (Brittany) of Roswell, GA, grandchildren, Brittan, Aiden Winford, Hudson, Brinley, Alden, Maleah Harris, Addison, Dylan and Tristan Sulcer and sister, Linda Richards. A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 30, 2013 at 1:00pm at Eastside Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Cemetery, Atlanta. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at H.M. Patterson & Son Canton Hill.
