Mrs. Margaret Louise Lindsey

Peggy was born July 27,1929 in Steubenville, OH. She was married to W.H. Byron Lindsey for 36 years in Smyrna, GA before being preceded by him in death.

Peggy blessed many of us with her crafts and ability to create intricate quilts for friends and family. Her life resembled her quilts in the way different areas were stitched together to create a beautiful work of art. Peggy was grounded in her faith and spread hope to many with her smile and joy of conversation. She blessed people with her love at home, had friends across the globe and went on local mission trips with her church choir. Peggy was employed for 25 years by Lockheed Martin in Security Clearance in Marietta, GA. She called Woodstock Baptist Church in Woodstock, GA her church home.

Peggy was the loving matriarch of her family; Cheryl Brockman (Gary) of Marietta GA, Rick Lindsey (Lisa) of Woodstock GA, Terry Rosa (Jimmy) of Myrtle Beach SC, grandchildren Jonathan Brockman (Jenny) of Woodstock GA, Eric Frost (Shyana) of Cary NC, Kristen O’Hare (Jay) of Woodstock GA, Beth Anne Hughes (Will) of Fuquay-Varina NC, Danielle Lindsey of Woodstock GA, Zach Lindsey of Marietta GA. She was loved by her great-grandchildren Ryan Dull, Avery O’Hare, Norah, Alice and Jane Hughes, and Miles Frost. Peggy is survived by her sisters Karen Donaldson (Jim) of Suwannee GA, Donna Spiers (Charles) of West Columbia SC. She is preceded in death by her sister Dorothy Krepps of Erie PA.
