Mary Garland age 92 of Marietta passed away Friday January 10, 2014. Funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home with Rev. Dean Hunter officiating. Interment will follow in Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, January 13, 2014 from 4-8 pm. Mrs. Garland is preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Howard Garland. Parents, Elisha H. Postell and Georgia Louise "Ludie" Head Postell. Sisters, Annie Postell of Dallas, Katie Postell Brown of Rockmart, Cattie Postell Scoggins of Dallas, Vora Postell Tidwell of Albany, Jimmie Lou Postell of Dallas, and Ruby Postell Swindle of Marietta. Brothers. Jess Postell of Dallas, Paul W. Postell of Rome, Ross Postell of Dallas,E.H. Postell Jr. of Lindale, Raymond postell of Powder Springs, Lamar Postell of Dallas, and Willard Postell also of Dallas. She is survived by nieces and nephews.
