Mary Cooper Heiney, 84 went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 3, 2014. Mary was born in Weiner, Arkansas on January 26, 1930. She was a devoted mother of 4, grandmother of 13, and great-grandmother of 17. She loved the Methodist Church and was an active member of the United Methodist Women. She leaves behind 4 children: Hal Heiney, Christine Schell,Wade Heiney, and Celeste Meacham. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, February 7, 2014 from 6-8 pm. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, February 8, 2014 in the chapel of Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home at 2:00 pm, with Rev. Mack Riley and Rev. Terry Phillips officiating. Interment will follow in Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted, however, donations may be made to Murphy-Harpst Childrens Home, 740 Fletcher St., Cedartown, GA 301254.
