Matthew James Colozzi

Cherished son of Salvatore and Joanne Colozzi, Matt was born on November 5, 1978 and grew up in Bridgewater, MA. In 2008 he relocated to Marietta, GA and pursued his college education. Graduating from Kennesaw State University he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics. Matt’s hope was to pursue a career in Math.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister Cara Dominick and her husband Jarrod of Roswell, GA a brother Anthony Colozzi and his wife Yadira of Massachusetts, his half-sister Lisa Wallace of Massachusetts, his half-brother Michael Colozzi and his wife Belinda of Arizona, and his half-brother David Colozzi and his wife Kate of Florida. He is also survived by his nephews William and Westley and niece Hayden Dominick of Roswell, GA. And many aunts, uncles and cousins. He is also survived by his fiancée Stefani Wagoner of Woodstock, GA.

Matt was an avid fan of the New England Patriots. He had a deep love of science. He especially enjoyed physics and astronomy and spent many hours reading books on these subjects. He really enjoyed reading every book written by Stephen Hawking. Matt also had a great love for his dog and best friend Ares.

A public visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, August 18th from 6p.m. to 8p.m. If you would like to make a donation in Matthew’s memory a donation to Phoenix House New England would be greatly appreciated.
