Nancy L Myers

Nancy Myers, 76, of Marietta, GA passed away peacefully at her home on Monday July 16th surrounded by her family. She leaves behind her high school sweetheart and loving husband, Bill Myers, of 57 years; her 3 children: Terry, Pam & Bill; 7 grandchildren; 4 sisters and a brother. One sister has preceded her. She was born in Pontiac, Michigan, grew up in Redford Township, but lived in Marietta for over 40 years. Nancy was a loving, strong-willed, fun, caring, active and fiery redhead. Everyone was graced by her presence. She dedicated her life to her husband, to raising their children, to experiencing the joys of grandchildren, to playing tennis, and to her faith. She was an excellent snow skier and loved to sing every morning! Her demeanor was always joyful and her care for others sincere. She was a long time member of Powers Ferry United Methodist and Johnson Ferry Baptist. She will be missed by all she touched. Visitation will be held at Patterson & Sons Canton Hill Chapel on Old Canton RD on the evening of Sunday July 22nd from 5 to 8. A celebration of her life will be held at Johnson Ferry Baptist Church on Monday July 23rd at 11. In lieu of flowers please donate to Johnson Ferry Baptist Church / Stephen Ministries.
