There was a delay in the lines for the Pearly Gates on June 21, 2012 as Patty B. Graff, who knew no stranger, made acquaintance with her fellow brothers and sisters to the Celestial Kingdom of Heaven. Patty was a vivacious, warm, caring and deeply spiritual woman whose love for friends, family and Transfiguration Catholic Church were evident from a smile that came deep from within her heart. Patty was born in Lafayette, Indiana to the late Victor and Anne Bolyard on September 29, 1941. She is survived by her husband, George Graff, sons, Jeff Graff and his wife Lisa and Todd Graff and his wife Wendy, daughter Melissa Johnson and her husband Josh, grandchildren, Kimberly, Zachary, Sarah, Katie, Sienna and Grayson, brothers, Richard and Tim Boylard and sister, Pam Bolyard Magers. Patty’s home away from home was Transfiguration Catholic where in addition to many volunteer activities she also participated in the church choir. Patty adored her grandchildren and always made sure they had a great time when visiting. Patty has a gift for interior decorating and loved the beach, walking, shopping for her entire family, tennis and watching nature from the back porch of the beautiful home that she and George created. Patty also enjoyed collecting and trading antiques, a passion that was only partially eclipsed by her fondness for Dunkin Donuts. Patty and George joyfully celebrated 51 beautiful years together on May 27th, spending the past 29 years here in Marietta with an additional 11 years previously in West Palm Beach, FL. Patty grew up in Lafayette, Indiana graduating Salutatorian from Central Catholic High School in 1959. She is leaving a deep emptiness in the hearts of all she touched in her life. Our walking Angel on Earth is now seated in our hearts.
