Pearl Juanita Dorsey

Pearl Juanita Dorsey, lovingly known to her family as “Nanny,” passed away peacefully on January 27, 2026, at the age of 94. Born in Roswell, Georgia, she later made her home in Mableton, Georgia, where she built a life filled with family and simple joys.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Eugene Dorsey.

Nanny was the devoted mother of three children:

• Dianne Wiley, and her late husband Richard Wiley

• Ronnie Dorsey and his wife Karen Dorsey

• Patricia Cloud and her husband Danny Cloud

She was the proud grandmother of Stephanie Bennett and her husband Joe Bennett, and Stephen Hurst and his wife Lila Hurst. Her legacy continues through her three great grandchildren, Jaela Hurst, Winter Hurst, and Indigo Hurst, who brought her joy.

Nanny spent many years working with United Family Insurance Company, where she was known for her dedication and strong work ethic. Outside of work she found her greatest happiness in the outdoors. She loved tending to her yard and garden, sitting peacefully on her front porch, and feeding the deer and birds that visited her home.

She will be remembered for her warmth, her resilience, and the deep love she held for her family. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

A visitation will be held at Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home & Cemetery, located at 2000 Cobb Pkwy SE, Marietta, GA, 30060-3759, on January 30, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm.

The funeral service will follow at the same venue, at 2:00pm.

A committal will take place following the service, on the grounds of Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery. Pearl Juanita " Nanny" Dorsey was a resident of Woodstock, Georgia.
