LT. COL. Richard Craig Moser

Visitation will be held at H. M. Patterson and Son Canton Hill Chapel on Thursday the 12th from 4:00-7:00 p.m.

Funeral service will be held at Mt. Zion UMC on Friday, the 13th with Dr. Joe Peabody officiating at 1:00. Burial will follow at Decatur Cemetery.

Richard was born in Salt Lake City, UT to Lorry and Beverly Moser on August 21, 1946. He attended Briarcliff High School where he met his future wife Annelle, and graduated in 1964. He went on to earn a BA degree from Georgia State University and a Masters in Safety Engineering from University of Southern California. He worked for the United States Air Force for 37 years as a pilot. He served in two tours during Vietnam, Desert Shield, as well as many other tours around the globe.

He was a member at Mt. Zion UMC and enjoyed scuba diving and most of all, being with his family.

Richard is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of nearly 40 years, Annelle, as well as his daughters and their spouses, Calista Anne (Kevin) Koch and Bevlynn (William) Rhoades. He was a loving grandfather to Annalynn, Richmund, and his newborn granddaughter Elise. He was brother to Walter (Dotty) and Scott (Marsha) and beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews.
