Rita O Lange

Mrs. Rita Lange, age 91 of Marietta, GA passed away on September 5, 2011 of congestive heart failure. Rita was born on October 16, 1919 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Edward and Anna Johnstone. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2011 at the chapel at H.M. Patterson & Son, Canton Hill, Georgia. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Rita was married for 26 years and raised two boys. She loved animals and, in addition to pets, she cared for several orphaned wild animals during her lifetime. Among her favorite memories were the times she spent in service to others as a member of the Upper Saddle River Volunteer Ambulance Corps in New Jersey and as a volunteer at the Windy Hill Hospital in Marietta Georgia. Rita is remembered fondly by those whose lives she touched. She will be dearly missed by her two sons, step daughter, two grandchildren and a circle of close friends.
