Mr. Robert “Bob” Taylor Hunt, age 97, of Marietta, Georgia passed away on January 19, 2018. Mr. Hunt was born in Charlotte, North Carolina in 1920 to A.W. & Elma Hunt. Mr. Hunt served in the Army Air Corps from 1942-1945. He graduated from the University of North Carolina with a degree in Engineering. After thirty years of faithful service at Lockheed, he retired in 1987 as an engineer. In his spare time, he enjoyed square dancing, boating, and travel—especially cruising. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife of forty-seven years, Barbara Hunt; two sons, Douglas Hunt and Ken Hunt; four step-sons, Jim, Mark, Jeff, and Mike; and a host of family, loved ones and friends.
Mrs. Hunt invites you to join her to Celebrate Bob’s life on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Parc at Piedmont, 999 Hood Road, Marietta, Georgia, 30068. A private interment with Military Honors will be held at Georgia National Cemetery.
