Robert G. Perkins,(Greg) age 78, of Marietta, Georgia, passed away on August 12, 2025. Born in 1946 to James and Mildred Perkins, he was a proud alumnus of the University of Georgia, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in advertising. Robert was known for his quick wit, loyalty to family and friends, and his deep love for animals.
After retiring, he channeled his passion for pets into a pet-sitting business, affectionately earning the nickname "The Pet Guy." He found great joy in spending time with his beloved fur-baby, Stella, and cherished the companionship of friends.
Along with his parents, Robert is preceded in death by his brother, James Michael Perkins and his wife of 45 years, Flora Perkins. He is survived by his nephew, Lee Perkins; great-nephew Colton Perkins, and great-great-nephew Parker Perkins.
