Robert D Vargulic

Mr. Robert “Bob” Daniel Vargulic, 61, of Marietta, GA passed away March 12, 2014. He was born in Binghamton, NY on December 8, 1952 to the late Charles and Corinne Vargulic. After his graduation from Binghamton Central High School, he graduated with an Associate Degree in Business from Broome Community College and later played football for Oswego State University, where he majored in political science. Bob enjoyed a career with IBM that spanned over 35 years. He was a diehard Yankees and Giants fan and rooted for the UGA football team. He enjoyed all sports and coached and played tennis with the Alta Tennis league. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was always child at heart. He also loved music, dancing, playing the lottery and was a movie buff of all genres. Bob was a devoted father and had a special relationship with each of his children. His children were truly the loves of his life. He is survived by his wife , Kathleen Vargulic, son, Eric Vargulic, daughters, Kimberly Vargulic and Kelly Vargulic, brother and sister-in-law, David and Patty Vargulic and sister, Connie Nellis. He was dearly loved by all his family and many friends. His presence will be missed by all. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, March 17, 2014 at 2:30pm at Transfiguration Catholic Church. The family will receive friends Sunday, March 16, 2014 from 6-8pm in the chapel of H.M. Patterson & Son Canton Hill.
