Sharon S. Jones, age 77, of Marietta, Georgia passed away on Monday, March 7, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. Sharon was born November 4, 1944 to the late Royal Spence and Thelma Krom Spence in Ellenville, New York. She graduated from Kingston High School in Kingston, New York. She was a proud homemaker and dedicated to her family. In her spare time, she enjoyed arts and crafts, traveling, and spending time with her loved ones. She especially enjoyed watching the wildlife in her backyard. She was the best MiMi to her two grandchildren. Sharon is preceded in death by her mother, father, and brothers, Craig and Roy.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Charles Jones; son, Michael (Tara) Jones; daughter, Erin Stephanie Elwell and granddaughters, Jennifer and Lindsey Elwell.
A celebration of life Memorial service will be held Thursday, 11:00 am, March 17th at HM Patterson and Son Canton Hill Chapel with Rev. Tim Locke officiating. Inurnment will take place at 11:30 am, Tuesday, March 29th at Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, GA.
