Sharon Palovich-Radel loved spending time with her pets, gardening and driving her four-wheeler. She passed away on February 23 in Marietta, Ga. after battling an illness. Born Nov. 30, 1952 in Ironwood Michigan, Sharon was the daughter of the late Mark Palovich and Marlene Palovich-Swanson. Sharon graduated from Luther L. Wright High School and Gogebic Community College in Ironwood before becoming a hair dresser there. She moved to Madison WI., where she also worked as a hair dresser, cosmetologist and state examiner for the state of Wisconsin. She met her late husband Daniel Radel in Madison before moving to Marietta, Ga. After her husband passed in 2002, Sharon moved to the mountains in Blue Ridge, Ga. Sharon is survived by her two sisters Kim LeVier of Seattle, Wa., and Suzanne Sheridan of Arlington, Tx., and her dear, lifelong friend Pat McClain of Jacksonville, Fla. Services will be held Saturday, Feb. 25 at 1:00 p.m. at the H.M. Patterson Funeral Home in Marietta. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society or Second Chance in Blue Ridge. Arrangements under the direction of H.M. Patterson & Son-Canton Hill Chapel, Marietta, GA.
