Sheryl Ann Hunter

Sheryl Ann Powell Hunter passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2016 after an extended illness. Sheryl was born November 1, 1961 in Atlanta, Georgia to David Powell, Sr. and the late Mary Margaret (Trudy) Campbell Powell. She is preceded in death by her husband, Alan Scott Hunter. Survivors include sisters and brothers-in-law Jean and Steve Soloff, Pam and Barry Allison, and Teresa and Steve White; brother and sister-in-law David Powell, Jr. and Deborah, and Wesley Powell. Nephews Brandon Soloff, Evan Soloff, Matthew Allison, Christopher Allison, Tyler White, and David Powell, III, and niece Ashley Hunter. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Marietta, GA. She graduated from Palmetto High School in Palmetto, GA. Sheryl and Scott owned and operated Atlanta Structural and Metro Atlanta Property Management. She was a real estate agent and worked in the insurance industry and dental office. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at 12:00 noon at H. M. Patterson & Son - Canton Hill, 1157 Old Canton Rd, Marietta, GA 30068. The family will receive friends beginning at 11:00 am prior to the service. Internment will follow in Sandy Springs Historic Center, 85 Mt. Vernon Hwy, Sandy Springs, GA 30328.
