Throughout her life, Teresa maintained a loyal, sweet, and comforting demeanor that won the hearts of her beloved family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, and many others. She was a dedicated teacher who influenced the lives of countless students. When she wasn't teaching, she enjoyed cooking, shopping, and finding inspiration for her next decorating project. Teresa was happiest when her family, also known to her as "her chickens" gathered together.
She is survived by her husband of nearly 43 years, David Babbit; brother and sister in law, Keith and Diane Stewart of Valdosta; children, Carter Babbit; Kate and Michael Williams; Molly and Tom Karry; and grandchildren, Mason and Miller Williams and Hudson Karry, all of Marietta.
The family will receive visitors at H.M. Patterson & Son, Canton Hill Chapel on Wednesday, July 22nd from 6-8pm. A memorial service will be at the Episcopal Church St. Peter and St. Paul on Thursday, July 23rd at 10am.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to CurePSP at psp.org.
