Thomas Daniel Lee, 84, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 20, 2016, at home, in Smyrna, GA. Tom was born on January 18, 1932 in Atlanta, GA. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of over 50 years, Betty Helen Lee and his daughter Denyea Rowland. He is survived by one daughter (son-in-law & two grandchildren); a granddaughter (grand son-in-law & two great grandchildren); a sister; and many nieces & nephews.
Tom worked at Yellow Freight (YRC) for over 40 years. He enjoyed the company of his co-workers so much he didn't retire until the age of 83. Tom was well thought of and loved by all who knew
him. He will be sincerely missed. A funeral service will be held at the Chapel of Georgia Memorial Park Funeral home on Friday, December 23, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Thomas Lee officiating. Interment will follow at Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery.
