Tommie Carmichael passed away on December 6, 2025, at the age of 90. She was born on November 7, 1935, to the late Ervin Rogers Davenport and Bessie Lavelle Wright Davenport. A homemaker for most of her life, she was also a successful Real Estate agent in Florida from 1974 to 1988.
A loving mother, wife, grandmother and great-grandmother, in her spare time, she enjoyed sewing, creative funny games, dancing, gospel and country music, playing bridge and attending bible studies.
In addition to her parents and grandparents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Dougal Helton Carmichael; son, Scott Douglas Carmichael; sister, Delores Hill; and son-in-law, Richard Mark Nigro.
She is survived by her beloved daughter, Alana Carmichael Nigro of Marietta, GA; four grandkids: Heather Nigro, Andrea (Jeremy) Dean, Richie (Colleen) Nigro and Carlie (James) Brock; great-grandchildren: Beau, Trynt "Ti" and Ashlyn Dean; Sebastain, August and Savatore Nigro; Audrey, Owen and Lucy Brock and her "adopted" son, Brian Turner and nephew, Bruce Hill.
A Memorial Service will be held at Eastminster Presbyterian Church; 3125 Sewell Mill Road, Marietta, GA 30062, on Tuesday, December 16th at 3:00 pm, followed by a reception at the church.
