Tony Alan Lanham

Tony Alan Lanham, 52, of Atlanta, died peacefully on Saturday, September 11, 2010, after a short, but courageous battle with kidney cancer. Tony was born in Atlanta and raised in Rome, GA. He attended the University of Georgia and most recently worked for Atlantic Southeast Airlines. Tony loved to travel and was most proud of his sons, Sean and Andrew. He spent many years coaching the boys in baseball and wrestling. Tony is survived by his son, Andrew Barr Lanham of Marietta; devoted girlfriend, Jae Jackson of Canton; mother, Dorothy Lanham of Lawrenceville; brother, Michael . His son, Sean Alan Lanham, and his father, Norman Rufus Lanham, preceded Tony in death. The family would like to thank the many wonderful friends and caregivers who have been a great source of support. Visitation will be held Thursday, September 16, 2010, at the HM Patterson & Son Funeral Home in Marietta, GA from 6pm to 8pm. A Memorial Service will be held at 11am on Friday, September 17, 2010, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, 4905 Roswell Road, Marietta, GA.
