Tyler Collin Clayton, 47, of Atlanta, GA, passed away peacefully on August 7 2023. His family is deeply saddened by his sudden passing. He was surrounded by his loving wife, family, and close friends.
Tyler was born in Saranac Lake, NY to Raymond Clayton Jr. and Glenda C. Keyes on September 1, 1975. He grew up in Columbia, SC with his younger sister, Chelsea, where they attended Brookland Cayce High School. After graduating high school in 1994, Tyler moved to Atlanta, GA to pursue his love of art and drawing at The Atlanta College of Art. While in college, he met the love of his life and soulmate, Lauren Amos.
Tyler and Lauren have been married 16 years this October and they have been together for 22 years. Their love for one another was truly infectious. They loved each other with all their heart and soul and it was evident when you saw them together.
Tyler was one of a kind. He would do anything for you and his smile would light up the room. He was so thoughtful and kind such a loving soul. He will be remembered by the many lives he touched and his ability to make you feel like one in a million.
Tyler was the creator and owner of KoruWorks, and to many in the drifting scene, he is better known as “Revel”. Tyler epitomized the meaning of “Revel”, which is “to be absorbed in, to be devoted to, to be a fanatic about.” He put all his heart and creativity into KoruWorks and into designing cars. His passion for drifting and love of bold colors and the Japanese culture was evident in his work and in his shop, KoruWorks. Tyler was featured in Super Street Magazine in 2020 and 2023.
Unfortunately, in 2018 Tyler was diagnosed with lung cancer. He fought cancer straight on and never looked back! He was a warrior and always determined to never give up! We will mourn his loss daily and know we will be reunited again in Heaven.
He will be remembered for his kind heart, infectious smile and unwavering love to his soulmate Lauren, his family, and those he called friends.
He was predeceased by his father, Raymond Clayton Jr. and he is survived by his loving wife, Lauren Amos; his mother, Glenda Keyes; his sister, Chelsea Bell (Jason) nieces and nephew EllyAnn, Edith, John ; and a host of extended family and friends.
Services will be held on August 12, 2023 at 2 pm at Peachtree Road United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Meals On Wheels Atlanta.
