William Baggett

William Baggett, age 87, of Sandy Springs, Georgia passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2023. He was born on January 12, 1936 to the late Eure Baggett and Mildred Millirons Baggett. He graduated from Russell High School and attended Georgia State. He was President and owner of Monitor Manufacturing Company for over thirty five years. He was a member of Johnson Ferry Baptist Church, and had a passion for golf- playing in Pro-Am golf tournaments; enjoying spending time at Lake Burton, traveling to many international places such as Taiwan, China, and Europe, always taking advantage of playing golf while visiting. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Patricia Baggett, being married 62 years until her death in 2018.

He is survived by his daughter; Carlene Lee and her husband Terry Lee, granddaughter; Heather Taylor and her husband Brent Taylor, one great granddaughter; Amelia Grace Taylor and a sister; Ruth Baggett, several nieces and nephews.

The Baggett family will receive friends Thursday, January 4 between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00 PM at H.M. Patterson & Son Funeral Directors, Canton Hill Chapel.

Funeral Services will be Friday, 11:00 am in the Chapel of Johnson Ferry Baptist Church, 955 Johnson Ferry Rd. Marietta, GA 30068. Pastor Bryant Wright and Rev. Art Wilder, officiating.

Interment will be held Saturday 1:00 pm, at Arlington Memorial Park, Sandy Springs.
