William (Bill) Edward Cardwell went to be with the Lord early on Thursday, July 26, 2018. He is survived by his beloved wife of almost 62 years, Mary Jamieson Cardwell. He is the dear father of Maureen, Scott (Pam), Michelle (John) and late daughter, Andrea. He is also survived by ten wonderful grandchildren and two precious great grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his family and many dear friends. He retired from Bell South 26 years ago as a manager serving with them for many years. He had a record of 40 years with the company. He truly had a life well lived and he and Mary traveled to many countries all over the world and had wonderful adventures together. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held 11:00 am, Monday, July 30th at HM Patterson and Son Funeral Home Canton Hill, Marietta with Dr. Nelson Price officiating, interment - Cheatham Hill Cemetery.
