I want to express how sorry I was to hear of Bill's passing. I know how hard it is to lose a brother or sister. You think they will be with you into your "Golden Years" and suddenly that dream is gone.

I am reminded of the happy times we had on Fernledge Drive with the picnics and of course the Christmas Eve celebrations. Bill was always such a big part of them and seemed to really enjoy himself.

My thoughts and prayers are with you. May Bill Rest in Peace in God's loving embrace.

Sad to hear about our long time friend. We first met Bill in 1980 at the Wilmer-Davis offices in Pittsburgh. We always enjoyed working with him over the years. He was a good friend to all who knew him and a great ambassador to NAPA and Genuine Parts Company. Rest is Peace our friend and prayers for all the family!

Bill was a great friend to me when our family moved to the Ryan Plan. We had great times in the summer, going to Crystal Springs swimming pool and playing kickball in the street. In high school, he was always willing to gather with Cheryl, Darla, Kathy, and me as we conquered difficult assignments or needed to study together. He loved his family and was always complementary of his brothers and his precious little sister. Fortunately, we were able to reconnect at our 50th class reunion. He was a joy to talk with and I am so glad for those few hours. I offer my prayers for all of your family. May God give you peace and comfort in the days ahead.

Bill will be missed greatly by all of his friends in Ashebrooke.
We were lucky to call Bill our friend for many years. He always was a great supporter of my kids and was generous on many occasions supporting them with their various fundraisers.
For many years we were fortunate to celebrate New Years Eve together as well as numerous football games at the Clark Bar.
( I still have the terrible towel he gave us many years ago)
I will miss him and his stories about his beloved dogs.
I know Bill is reunited with Maggie and Sugar going on a beautiful walk in heaven.
Rest In Peace my friend,
All our love,
Terry,Terry,Patricia, and Taylor Clark

Bill was instrumental in my promotion to GM at NAPA Altoona for Davis & Wilmar many years ago. It led to an over 30 year career with NAPA/Genuine Parts Company. He was a good friend and always my “go to “ guy with all HR related issues. We always enjoyed talking about Pittsburgh and the good old days at NAPA.
Rest in Peace!

Billy our fine Pittsburgh friend. It’s with heavy heart I learned of your passing - maybe not unexpected but wishing it to be many more years towards the future! Genuine Parts Company lost two Titans this week. Two of the most honest, forthright and truly friends of the common employee! Bill Evans many a young GPC Manager was able to become educated by asking a question-because they knew they could without prejudice - I was one of them! Continue to keep a good watch on who continues to enter into that hallowed institution my friend. You certainly earned your place at the table, It a good day in TN today Billy.. your beloved Pitt Panthers are holding a 7 point lead over those pesky Vols! Missed but won’t be forgotten!
