Bonnie Kay Barrier

She was born July 28, 1955 in McDowell County, NC to the late Britt and Bertha Trinks Elliott. Kay enjoyed gardening and word search puzzles. She was a big Elvis Presley fan and loved the color orange.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Ann Elliott.

Surviving Kay are one son, Brooks Barrier of Marion; one daughter, Janet Barrier and husband, Matt Weiss of Atlanta, GA; two brothers, Jimmie Elliott and wife, Paula of Marion and Jerry Elliott and wife, Jeannie of Old Fort; one sister, Sandy Arrowood of Marion; two grandchildren, Merideth and Brooklyn Barrier; numerous nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Monday, February 20, 2017 at Kirksey Funeral Home in Marion. Memorialization will be by cremation.
